Access is via the beach, with a small harbour perfectly protected from the waves this is a beautiful dive for any level.
The reef itself is vibrant and colourful, and only improves as you move further along. Similar to Jan Thiel, the most beautiful section of the reef is between 5 and 12 meters. Clusters of yellow finger corals, prominent sea fans give way to a staghorn coral nursery, colourful sponges and hundreds of colourful reef fish. Along the break water you will find large elkhorn colonies, schools of fish and staghorn coral outplants.
Experienced divers may also like to explore carpile, a collection of old scrap, perhaps from the refinery, perhaps sunk deliberately to create an artificial reef. Either way today corals, sponges and anemones, cover the structures. Deep purple egg patches, guarded by their Sergeant Major creators, silver barracuda and porcupine puffer fish can all be found amongst the wreckage.
