During the PADI Open Water course, you’ll gain a solid knowledge for the basic principles of scuba diving. You will learn basic scuba skills, how to use basic scuba gear, including a dive computer and other dive accessories, and how to dive with a dive buddy. Within 3 days you will be trained in theory and practical experience how to be a responsible open water diver.
During the course, you’ll make at least 4 open water dives at local dive sites with your instructor. You will start with the e-learning program so you can go through all the theory at home in your comfortable chair. At the dive shop we will focus specifically on any questions that remain and immediately apply the theory you have learned in the water.
The first day of diving you will do some practical diving exercises in the water. If there is time and air left after the training session, you will make a real dive, so you can enjoy the beauty of the reef, the colorful fish and the nice feeling of floating around right from the start.
The second day of diving we will focus on applying the learned skills in an open water situation. The first 2 open water dives will be done on our beautiful house reef. In addition, during these dives we will also enjoy the beautiful underwater world. Our instructors have a trained eye to spot the most beautiful underwater creatures for you.
On the last day we’ll pack up the dive gear and head to two of our local reefs for the final 2 dives. At the successful completion of these two last dives, you will become a certified PADI Open Water Diver, which means that you can go diving with a buddy anywhere.
